I am currently a third-year student at the University of Georgia here in Athens and currently working on a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. I work to help out part-time at AthensGuy.com doing whatever needs to be done, whether it be content management or graphics. In the past I have done many jobs: a student manager at a restaurant, an associate with an independent pharmacy, and a golf cart associate.
Below are websites that I have worked on and what I have done on them.
Hendley & Associates

Hendley & Associates asked for a redesign of their old site. What does that mean for me? It means that the content gets a facelift as well. They had new agents and a lot of subdivisions they wanted to place on the site so they could easily show customers what they were talking about when they mentioned a place. I definitely learned a lot with this first site. |
Your Choice Realty

There wasn't much to be done with this site when I got a hold of it other than add an agent and fix a few forms in HTML. |
Animal Emergency Hospital

I got my hand dirty with the Directory module that we have at AthensGuy.com and edited their links and a lot of their pages. |
Gospel Light Baptist Church

Gospel Light was my first site where I could fill in content and actually help implement things like the photo gallery module. I also ended up dabbling in JavaScript to help edit the menu. I think I might have learned some of the finer points of design here. |
Shiloh Men's Ministries

They had a lot to update and so Cynthia decided to give the reigns to me to update all of the new testimonies, newsletters, and such. The monthly content was then handed to me whenever it showed up. |
Athens Christian School

This was definitely the most complicated web site that I have gotten handed. I was given the content to format and handle. I learned a lot more about JavaScript, more Photoshop graphic handling, and PDF creation. |
Land Headquarters

Land Headquarters did not have a lot of content page work but most of the work was to get all of the image galleries set up for the customer to fill it in. It was definitely an interesting job to fill in all of the images for them. |
Spring Valley EcoFarms

I was given the rights to fully format this site with pictures I was given and content I was given as I saw fit (with a few restraints, of course). I learned plenty of design work with the gallery. |
Concept Sign Supplies

This was the first E-Commerce web site that I had to work with. I set up hundreds of options and with some snippets of code from Patrick I set up tables to connect options to color choices in the store. |
Our Town Magazine

In this site, I managed to set up updates on their site. Their updates are definitely all over the site monthly. I learned how to update the Calendar module and design pictures and news items for the site. |
Lavender Glen Subdivision

This site was mainly just inserting the content and making sure that everything inside of it flowed properly. The main thing that had to be done was the conversion of the documents as important PDFs. |
Green Acres Baptist Church

This was our next biggest update after a lot of eCommerce sites and definitely the biggest church site I've seen or done. Either way, I slugged through the information and put it together and implemented the menus through the site. I wanted to make everything coherent, and that was a tough job with all the information coming together! |
Alternative Birth

A lot of content had to be entered into this site, and I also got my first taste of inserting items from an affiliate program such as Amazon. The hardest part about this site for me were the pictures as that's something I don't normally deal with on a day to day basis :) |
Georgia's Piedmont YMCA

This umbrella site was my first dealings with an umbrella site and making the site become a focused organization with two branches. I'd already become accustomed to the Winder YMCA site, but this made me more aware of the greatness of the WebMasterCMS portal system. |
Dean Bright Real Estate

A lot of things that I did on this site was deal with the content and the listings code that comes with a lot of Athens area real estate agents. Most of the banner pictures I chose, and also designed smaller pictures on the site. |
Delta Zeta UGA

Athens Pool & Spa
