AthensGuy.com has created a new module for the WebMaster CMS that allows you to manage multiple opt-in mailing lists from your website. You don’t have to install any software. The emails are sent from your website, so you never leave your own website. The biggest feature of this mailing list manager is the ability to track how many people read your marketing email.
The Easy Mailing List manager embeds a secret image into all emails it sends. When someone receives the email, their email client will usually display the secret image. Since the image is loaded from your website, the mailing list manager knows the email was loaded and marks it as having been read by the given subscriber. Combine this with the ability to make your own custom landing page in your website and marketing campaigns were never easier to track.
The mailing list software also tracks bounced emails. After three failures, invalid emails are automatically removed. This keeps you from having to patrol the mailing list for old, unused emails.
Finally, the software also allows people to sign-up and remove themselves from your mailing lists.
