This website represents a book written by Dr. Earl Starnes and Dr. Richard RuBino. The book is titled Lessons Learned? The History of Planning in Florda. Dr. Earl Starnes is a Professor Emeritus of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Georgia. Dr. Richar RuBino is Prefessor Emeritus of Urban and Regional Planning at Florida State University. Dr. Starnes is Cynthia's grandfather, so it was a distinct pleasure to create this website to represent his most recent endeavor. The book discuss the history of planning in Florida from the early 1960s through today.
