Server Latency on July 29 2006

Around 1:22PM on July 29 2006, the server's backup processes began causing latency in the web server serving web pages. At 3:50PM, 2 hours and a half later, we rebooted the server to resolve the issue. The server response times are back to normal and no future problems have been encountered.
