The Animal Emergency Hospital is a cooperative effort of area veterinarians and represents 15 veterinary hospitals in Athens and surrounding counties. Participating veterinarians have long seen the need for this service to clients, their pets, and the companion animals of our community. The hospital provides emergency and critical care services for dogs and cats when after-hours emergency care is needed.
