The Tree House of Winder Georgia is a non-profit organization who works with the local community to reduce the impact and occurrence of child abuse but providing counseling services, education, and family support to the communities of Barrow County, Banks County, and Jackson County. Their programs include child services to reduce the trauma to child victims, famiy services to provide parents the skills to bond with their children, community outreach to increase public education and awareness of child abuse, and the Piedmont Visitation Program which works to provide a safe environment for parents to visit with children in foster care.
